I figured I'd convert the last of the halogen bulbs over to LED on the '21 Niro EV SX Touring.
The first bit of research was a fail and I got the wrong bulbs, so this time I looked at what was in there stock before ordering more.
Turns out the Fog lights are H4B (9006) and for some reason they had 1157 in the turn signal sockets. Which is odd because all that bulb does is turn signal, no running tail lights at all. I wish I had taken a pic of the socket. If it's an actual 1156 socket maybe they're using 1157 bulbs to double up on the filaments being lit.
Does anyone have any further info or experience on why they would use 1157 bulbs in the turn signals?
I've ordered 1157, but if they don't work correctly I won't be surprised lol.
These are what I ordered:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B099NCZKR6?psc=1&smid=ANI1TW6ABCF85&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B078S3MR7B?psc=1&smid=A2I5RNFUMKWGPI&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp
I should get them tomorrow so I'll report back how it goes.
