Congrats! Definitely a champagne worthy moment.
I see you're already plugged in. Did you have an EV already or did you install a home charging station in anticipation of this car?

I drove a 2016 Volt for the last 3 years, I loved it, work from home, less than 10K miles per year, just roll in the carpool lane to LA and SD here and there and around OC to customers.
I was bummed that Chevy was discontinuing the Volt, I didn't like the Volt on hills, especially driving up the pass to Vegas, but everything else about the Volt I loved.
I recently gave up my volt because my lease ended and have been holding out, jumping online daily like Charlie waiting for the golden ticket.
Then on Friday, my chick rolls up to me and says, "hey, there is the blue Kona EV in Garden Grove, why don't we go in tomorrow and look at it?" I looked at her like she was crazy! We are leaving in 5 minutes, it was like 11:15 AM, and Joe said get in here now.
We drove as fast (and safe
as we could to Joe Vasquez, he was our rep. It was great, he knew some on the car, but not everything, neither did we, hey neither do most people. By the time we left, we were all at least Kona EV 101ers, and I know Joe is doing more research on everything Kona EV. I pumped him up and let him know there isn't any around, we just got super lucky. He should brush up on this and kill the sales!

Loving it so far, search on Car Gurus, that is my Chick's secret, all the cars there don't have pics, as soon as the pic pops up, call and drive over immediately. I am on alot of call lists at dealers and on Hyundai's "alert me" email list, and nothing... Crickets... I think the one in Ontario sold today or yesterday, that was the only other around in So Cal.

I am using the 12 amp given to me from Hyundai until I get a 240V installed. I don't drive a ton, so ok right now, but will need to get it done in the next 2 weeks or so, a couple big drives coming up.
how true is it that dealers are marking up prices above MSRP in California?
