Folks: After reading on some electric car forum that you could maximize EV range and save brake pads by keeping max regen at all times thus doing "single pedal" drive, I tried to do that on my '18 Clarity PHEV. I was aware that except for SPORT mode the chevrons would disappear when stopping...

Having obtained some Clarity PID's, and getting set up with Car Scanner, here is an example of something very cool that we can now do:

I was frustrated by not knowing when my MINI Cooper SE was autonomously illuminating its brake lights in response to regenerative braking. Rather than tape a piece of aluminum foil to the hatch to reflect the high-mounted, center brake light into the hatch window, I wired an LED in parallel with...
Every time I start my car up the Regen Level is on 1. I typically like to have it on 0. Sometimes I forget and I travel around on 1. I've shut the car off in 0 hoping next time I start it will will be on 0. Doesn't work. Anyone know how to cure this?? TIA!
I am a 2012 Volt owner who has always driven in L, so I am used to (and love!) the regenerative braking.
Earlier this year (spring 2019), coincidentally(?) just after having my summer tires put back on, my regenerative breaking feels significantly reduced. It feels about halfway to being in D...
OK, so I'm new to the EV scene. I can't find, in all that Hyundai docs that they provide, an overall explanation of when to incorporate the RG system into my daily driving. I'm gathering that it be primarily used during braking. Should I have it set at 1 all the time, and increase to 2, or...
Seems like using the brake pedal in various electrified cars behaves differently in each one. Anybody know of a site that might keep track of exactly what the braking behavior is for various models? It would also be interesting to understand what the various one pedal modes do in each vehicle...
