I am new to this forum so apologies if this has been covered ad nauseum in here but I needed to vent and possibly hear about people in similar situations.
I have a 2019 Kona EV and my 12V battery died in September so I took it to the dealer to have it looked at. They said it was under warranty...

So I bought my 2019 Kona Electric used (500 miles) in the US and took it with me overseas to Central America. Car has been great with no glitches....until recall 200 came along.

So... I just talked to corporate Hyundai today and I'm sure this is going to cause a lot of confusion but they were very clear with me regarding US Kona Electrics:
1. It is NOT their plan to replace any batteries
2. Their solution at this time is to buy back affected 2019 Kona Electrics...
