Lock the car, but leave it running

if you want the climate to keep going, just turn off as normal, exit car, walk away and press lock then press and hold fan on key fob until turn signals blink 4 times

    Loud buzzing

Nice, as far as the cooling fan coming online, I’m pretty sure most can attest that it is completely normal (mine, for example, comes on every time I charge almost regardless of temperature (not so much below freezing of course)) Secondly, I would love to have your level of solar!! Great job in...

    Loud buzzing

It will I assure you, also, you will see the difference in your graphs as well. For me, adding 10-20 mins per charge is worth stopping that hideous noise

    Loud buzzing

One more example, I had the juice box set to 24 but for whatever reason said “I think I will try going back to 32amps” You see the graph at 24 to start and the “drop” is actually the increase to 32 amps, and immediately following you see the “up and down” irregularities that correlate to the...

    Loud buzzing

I’ve had this same issue with 220 charging once with a low quality charger... so I upgraded to JuiceBox40 Here is what I’ve learned.. if I set the max rate to 32 amps, it WILL make these noises and on the graph show erratic charging, but if I set the max rate to 24 amps, absolutely no noise and...

    Battery Capacity Test Results

I have kept EVERY fuel receipt since delivery, and I’ve tracked HV fuel efficiency to be close to 45 mpg (that’s at around 75-80mph consistently) So, I add every gallon up and multiply by 45 to get a pretty good estimate

    Battery Capacity Test Results

I would not be too concerned, I had them run mine shortly after purchase (and finding this group) and it appears that I missed that line item, however, mine said “fail” as well and we have had no problems and now have 11,300 miles on it with 4,000 HV, and the balance electrons only. Hope this helps

    HV Charge mode "unsatisfying"

Also at freeway speeds, MOST if not all of the generated power is being used instantly to keep you at freeway speeds, HV CHARGE mode would (and does) show more charging “per minute/mile” at lower city speeds and stop and go traffic.

A look under the dashboard of Clarity after removing panels

There are no dumb questions as they say, and yes it is not covered at all and directly below the steering column

    Suggestions on Dash Camera?

I love my REXING cam, I have them in all three of my vehicles, including my Clarity. For the clarity I purchased the $9 hardwire harness that simply plugs into one of the open fuse slots under the dash, total install time was around 25 minutes including concealing the cable completely... also...

A look under the dashboard of Clarity after removing panels

It’s the “2” slot in the fuse box above the brake pedal (off the left a little) and it is only hot when the car is accessory mode or in run mode (perfect for dash cams and or radar detectors etc)

    Best Level 2 Charger

Juice box 40pro allows you to choose, 6,12,16,24,32,40 amp settings from the EVSE itself and would mean you could easily adjust it and or keep it If you had a higher current circuit in the future. JuiceBox Pro 40 Smart Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station with WiFi - 40 amp Level 2 EVSE...
