I wanted an electric car. The Clarity was the best choice!

Our Clarity PHEV has carried me through the gateway. I'm ready to go full EV if only Honda will make their Sports EV Concept a real car.

I started full electric with the Model S and would have gone with the Model 3 as our second car had not the practical side of my wife taken over. Not liking the idea of having 2 all electrics, she gravitated toward the Clarity. The rest is history.

No, I did test drive the green one twice thou.

I ordered the base in late Jan and switch to Touring 1 week before the election after the manager contacted me and told me there is no base to buy. They had a grey touring for me in late June but I want a read so I let someone else took the grey (as they said there is a red coming in late summer). Just got my VIN today, should be here in 2-3 weeks

Gave the oldest my 2008 Prius for graduation and needed a replacement that got at least 55 MPG.
I was looking at the PHEV's, esp.the Ioniq.
At the end of the day, I went for the car with the rebates and EV range.
With the incentives, it was a wash.
Clarity is larger, has distinctive looks and is quieter, plus has more safety options.
I wish the Clarity had the active grill shutters and exhaust heat recovery, but I'm still happy with the decision.
