Ahem, that's Crimson Pearl. The plan going into the dealer was to get the Green one. But when we saw it and the red one, red won.

I actually got the names for the colors from Honda's website when you build a car online. So blame Honda. :)

7 months after we took delivery and the Moonlit Forest Pearl touch-up paint is still on back-order. This color is not available on any other Honda or even any other Clarity, so there's actually an advantage to liking the other colors. Moonlit Forest Pearl is so dark that it has to be washed as often as a black car, but my wife and I really like the look when the sun's shining.

I got that new high tech paint. It is invisible until it dries. I will let you know when the dealer tells me where to find my car that has been on order for 3 months.

After two of my previous cars and one of my wife's being modern steel metallic, we now have two white cars. There isn't enough money on the planet to get me to have a car with a black interior again, so it was white or modern steel metallic for me. Voila!

I haven’t bought my Clarity PHEV yet, but hopefully next week. Colors here are so limited and the White Pearl is the most common at the dealerships. Today, I’ll go see a red one in the lower trim and see how I like the color. I would prefer the dark interior, but may have to settle for the light one if all I can get is the White Ultimate model.

I generally don’t to buy white cars and cars with light interiors. However living in the desert makes a white car and light color interior practical. I was thinking of getting the cream is in pearl with a light interior.

Moonlit Forest Green is the signature color of the Clarity Phev and as such comes from the factory with an extra kwh of capacity and 10 extra EV miles.

I believe Honda refers to the Moonlit Forest Pearl as the "hero" color for the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid. It's not available on any other Honda. I'm so glad the Clarity that came to our dealer December 2, 2017, was Moonlit Forest Pearl because that was the color I liked the most--I'd already been waiting nearly a year for this car.

It was supposed to be our little secret that the green cars sport an enhanced battery. Those with lesser colors are gonna be PO'd when they read your revelation. Don't tell them about our heated steering wheel, head-up display, blind-spot detection, undetectable sunroof, and the cool radio knobs connected to the ultra-high-speed touch-response version of the infotainment system.

Sorry my bad! I completely forgot about the non disclosure agreement I signed as part of the hero color package. Those who paid extra for the Touring model also got the cross traffic alert as part of the package.

I would have liked a lighter exterior but I wanted the dark interior so went Black. The dark grey was sold the morning I got mine so wasn't an option. Would have liked the blue from the all electric or hydrogen model if it was available, or the green if it had dark interior :)

Actually bought my Moonlit Forest Pearl Clarity earlier than I wanted to because only one left in San Diego. Plenty of black and white to choose from. Crimson was the 2nd choice.

PHEV Touring in white (platinum white I guess?). I currently drive a white with tan interior ‘12 Prius and was trying to avoid white again, but fell in love with the two-tone tan with chocolate accents in the Clarity. In a white car it just looked very sharp.

You are 100% correct. By far, the black hides the hideous wheel skirts the best; but it is a nightmare to keep it clean.

Some days, I deeply regret the dirty black. When the skirts jump out at me when I see another colored Clarity- not so much.

I've tried to understand my revulsion to the skirts without success. It may be that they appear to slow the car down in the subconscious. Something like a bicycle brake engaged??

We have kids so it was any color with a black interior (easier to keep clean, doesn't show marks as easily). Unfortunately that ruled out the colors I like better. Ended up with Silver. It is fine, doesn't look too dirty but it gets washed about once per week. It is a fine boring color.

Has anyone else noticed people slow for the Clarity thinking it is a cop car before they pass? My brother made this observation after following me for a few thousand miles that people hit their brakes a lot before passing it on the highway.

I haven't noticed the cop thing. I did have a cop talk to me once at a convenience store. He asked if it was one of those ev cars. He also asked me "why did they make it so ugly?"

Why he would tell a stranger that his new car is "ugly" is beyond me. Even if he thought it was ugly, you don't say it out loud in a polite society.

Definitely the type of guy who takes pleasure in ruining other people's days:) I wouldn't go 1mph over limit near this a-hole:)

Moonlit Forest Pearl with tan (basic) interior. Love the colors! I’ve had it four months and the dark green really shows water spots (far more than the dark blue Prius it replaced), but it truly sparkles in the Florida sun!!

Doesnt bother me any. While I've grown to quite like the styling of the car, I understand why it's such a polarizing look.
The stares I get on the highway make this car a priceless gem to me
