InsideEVs (and others) are reporting the Volvo EX30 will also be made in Europe from 2025 after 'Strong Demand.' I'm sure the low projected price of the EX30 is what prompted the strong demand, but can they sell EX30s built in Belgium for the same price as EX30s built in China?

Does Biden's 100% tariff affect Chinese brands who manufacture cars in the US? Last month, back when Trump's 27.5% tariff on Chinese vehicles seemed steep, Reuters reported: ...Volvo's ability to skirt U.S. tariffs on Chinese cars because it also has U.S. manufacturing operations, according to interviews with four sources familiar with Volvo and Geely strategy and several U.S. trade policy experts.
Something I read today implied it would be very difficult for Geely to use this loophole. Apparently Polestar is not happy. To be determined I guess.
