The "standard" Bluetooth audio protocol it would be using (AptX) is 352 Kbps. If you have a bunch of 256 Kbps mp3 or ogg files, there's going to be no difference. Now if Honda would update the hardware and/or software on the infotainment to Android 8, it'd have LDAC, and assuming your phone is newer, you'd have 3 times the bandwidth to play with on Bluetooth.
Sound is subjective. I definitely hear a quality difference between USB & CarPlay/Android Auto. It's not a big difference, but for a picky person like me, it's enough.
