    Excellent point. I realize it doesn't have the same adjustments in addition to being manual. I will be visiting another dealer. I hope they have both models on hand.

    I love my Touring, but the one thing I don't like about it is the lack of lumbar support. I can make up for it by bringing the seat "up" closer to 90 degrees, but man, I'd kill for a proper lumbar bag in this car for those long trips. Even my 2002 4Runner (which I traded in for the Clarity) had good lumbar support.

    Also, because I live in the South, I had to get the beige seats. Black leather seats look great, but feel like a cast iron skillet in summer.

    Otherwise, I absolutely love this car.

    If any one has a base model and put some inside pictures, that would be great

    @Atul Thakkar Here's one pic I have.

    Thanks for the pictures. The beige parts look just like my Touring seats.

    Does this mean that the only leather parts of the Touring seats are the perforated areas that correspond to the cloth areas of the base model?

    Yes, I believe so -at least that is what my dealer told me.

    Kendalf, what kind of material replace the 'suede' material? From your picture, it still look kind of 'suede-y'

    Chooch , that means what I suspected. I paid a lot for leather “trimmed” seats that have hardly any leather!

    It's a soft-touch vinyl/bio-leather material. Pretty much like the center armrest. It is not suede-y or fabric-y.

    The power memory function of the Touring seats is worth more to me than what turns out to be just 4 panels of perforated leather. It will be interesting to see how the two seat variants wear with age.

    Exactly why I asked. I think both models have the same non-leather or real leather. I tried to find a dealer that had both models so I can take a side-by-side smell test but no luck. Doesn't matter anyway because the wife says to get the touring.
