Dahn released the results of testing the 4680 tech and it was 15000 cycles with almost no degradation. If applied to a 620(+) mile battery (highest capacity) it yields 10 million milles of life. Even more interesting by an order of magnitude was the finding that if discharged between %25-%50 so that you were only driving your 620 mile between 155 miles and 310 miles there is no degradation leaving open unlimited mile batteries.
Leading Dahn to question if we even need batteries this good. Jeff, let me answer that question. Yes, yes we do just like we'd want truly non volatile memories we need this to make sure fossil fuels are extra dead, completely dead with no reflaming. Interesting implications for the recycle- repurposec cycle.

With a little help from Google, this may be the source:
    https://electrek.co/2020/10/18/tesla-battery-test-results-over-2-million-miles/

A Tesla battery researcher showed updated test results pointing to batteries lasting over 15,000 cycles or the equivalent of over 2 million miles (3.5 million km) in an electric car.

Last year, we reported on Jeff Dahn and his lab, who are under contract to do battery research for Tesla, releasing an interesting paper that shows how the latest Li-ion battery technology can produce batteries that would last 1 million miles in electric vehicles.

In a new presentation, Dahn discussed updated test results from this new battery, which he hopes becomes the new standard Li-ion battery that new battery technologies benchmark themselves against.
