No for the fossil fuel shills that will whine that positive Tesla specific info can't belong in the general forum because that might speed up the arrival of EVs and the scrapping of fossil fuels- this thread might be thought of as: understanding yet another way that SpaceX is the gift that keeps on giving in continuing to accelerate the total shut out of fossil fuels through EVs (most visible) and other green tech and reinforcing the inevitability of it. There is an asteroid with more gold in it than all the money that has been spent since the beginning of money. It just a little further out than Mars. It will be 7 billion brought back in raw cash equivalent per cheap automated starship flight. Tesla will build out Mars with this. Its true nations and supply/demand will deflate gold in response, but gold is an inherantly useful if historically bloody material. How will nations deflate gold- through good ole soveriegn state fiat currency and its power over exchange rates. But what about crypto- crypto is a total joke in comparison to soveriegn fiat and it will only be used to reinforce soveriegn state fiat. Its so funny that people think bitcoin with its tripple ledger is a cash replacement that can be used to evade taxes. Ha, ha, hah!!! Or they think it will be used to end state inflationary spending which they think of as a inflationary default tax. But even if growth is just "logistical" and you want or need to end it and its associated waste you still wouldn't want to get rid of state inflationary spending cycles as they are the engine of economies. You just want those cycles transparent to be more equitable and sustainable and for that you need enclosure free information networks like the one MaidSafe is building or has about built. Whether it be racking up or storing or distributing or making accessible photons or gold atoms or fully automated transports or automated buildouts or neural AI portals and meshes that overcome the human input problem (vs human/time energy against the existential challenges)- Tesla rocks.
