Has anyone made, or heard of any improvements that can be done to the Niro's bouncy suspension? We live in an area with frost heaves. Presumably, the short wheelbase coupled with the springy suspension yield a front to back rocking motion.
Do you have the EV or PHEV? Perhaps components from the heavier EV could be an upgrade for the PHEV. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk
In all seriousness, it sounds like you have a underdamped harmonic oscillator, which means the spring constant in your shocks is not well matched to the mass of your car. No doubt a stiffer suspension system meant for a heavier vehicle would be fine.
Naw. No need to that I have noticed . I will pay attention to see if the higher weight means it takes longer than I would like to smooth out after a bump.
