I'd check with Amazon or the seller. Would not surprise me if someone else returned something else in the different box and nobody bothered to check up the line.
This is basically true. There are probably a few companies, if not a few dozen, that make the same thing which was probably copied from the original design someone did. Dousida is the brand of the J1772 connector. This is the actual manufacturer of the connector, you can see at the bottom Dousida and other names are their brand. https://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/showpage.html?name=FFVI2.E364477&ccnshorttitle=Electric+Vehicle+Plugs,+Receptacles+and+Couplers+-+Component&objid=1083567503&cfgid=1073741824&version=versionless&parent_id=1073752535&sequence=1 These products consist of the J1772 connector, the cables, the circuit board, the plastic circuit board housing, and the plug. Each of which is likely coming from the same vendor or copied at other vendors. That's why the plastic black circuit board housing is the same from most of the vendors. Maxgreen seems to be one of the ones I noticed that shows they are using a different circuit board and mentioning the use of higher quality components (theoretically).
I have the same charger as Ricky from Amazon. It is labeled Duosida even though it's from Zencar so it's not a mix-up. It has been working daily charging without any issue for me for a month now.
