  1. Other than the center logo, I like how those rims look.
Imho, with an "H" Honda emblem glued onto the center, they might even look as good, or better, than the stock rims. Then again, for rims, *I* like the straight 5-spoke rim look best. :)

For winter I think they'll be more than fine, I like 5 spokes as well. These kind of match some of the angular designs of the car. Definitely replacing the centre cap.

Those look good. I like how it says "Wheels" in the middle, in case you weren't sure which part this was. :) LOL!

    On Ebay, a search for:
    Honda EMBLEM Wheels Logo

Will find a number of round Honda logos. For ~~$15, 4 round logos can be had.

Then, attach the round Honda logo over the "Wheels" logo with epoxy. And, imho, you have wheels that *I* like better than the stock Clarity wheels. :)
Fwiw, other than the "spread" at the outer rim edge of the black strip, the rims are similar to older stock Accord rims.

Lol I'm looking at the exact same centre caps. Trying to score one off Kijiji, hopefully the guy responds back :)

Ha - I just got those exact rim's installed at Costco today! They look H-O-T! Do need to lose the inserts though, but meh - nobody will look that close. :)

After driving for a bit please give your impressions on ride quality. It's a little hard to compare with winters but the 17s should improve it even further. Also let us know what the EV estimate is after a few charges . I'm at 67km now with the
Stock wheels driving very hard with the colder weather

    OEM wheel+tire weight 54lbs
RTX alloys with winter tire 44lbs

A bit noisier than the AS, feel stickier in the slush-rain I drove in. Very smooth.

Has anyone driven in a snowy/icy area with the stock wheels & tires that came with the Clarity? I'm still debating whether to get snow tires or try the all seasons that came with it.

I'll give my honest opinion although I've never driven the Clarity in winter. Based on my time in the summer the energy saver tires are weak even in summer weather . I would not want to drive them in the winter. If you are going to keep the car 6 years I highly recommend investing an extra 250 in a spare of black steelies. Your tires will last much longer so the investment is up front but your safety is priceless.

I have a 4-year lease so it would be for 4 seasons. With nice rims and tires it looks like about $1200-1400 or so... Approx $300-400 per winter. I was contemplating the same rims from Costco but I guess I could do steel wheels to cut down the cost. Which tires did you go with?

I agree. Stopping distance and maintaining control is significantly different to the point that in Quebec Canada they have made snow tires a legal requirement to save lives and reduce harm. Insurance companies here in Ontario give discounts for those with winter tires because they know statistically it reduces the chance of accidents. Long term rubber cost is the same if you’re keeping your car and it helps resale if you own and will flip it.

That is a great point I think it is 30 to 50 dollar a year savings on insurance if you tell them you have winter tires. Go with the tire that is on sale with a cash card. Blizzak ws 80 , x-ice 3 or Pirelli ice zero (in sept had a 70 cash card and free install) are all good options. Get the one that's cheapest and has a sale. You can also sell the rims and tires afterward for a bit or if you get another Honda they may fit.

OK you have all convinced me to be smart and get winter tires. I'm totally copying you, JCEV, and ordering the same rims from Costco. The local Honda dealer recommends Michelin X Ice 3 tires.

I saw you posted this in another thread: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00LIS2ZJW?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd , so these definitely fit the Costco rims?

    Thanks again..

Yes they do , I was supposed to put the tires on this weekend but as you may know in another thread due to the accident they are sitting in my garage . I paid 17.98 for each center cap and they seem to have increased to 31 which is way too much . They do fit though . Congrats on doing the winter rim thing :)
