I bought the Ruiya brand last year when it was the first and only Clarity specific screen protector on the market. It fit fine and comes with installation tools. Fairly easy if you go slow and have the screen well cleaned beforehand.

Interesting. We have had a glass screen protector on the 8" screen for about 18 months. We recently came to the conclusion that nothing other than our fingers ever touches the tablet. The screen protector had a white glow all around the edge; a sort of light pipe behavior. We decided to remove it to get rid of that glow.

I'm thinking unless you regularly drive your Clarity to the beach and then rub sand on your fingers before touching the screen, you don't need a screen protector. Haven't noticed any scratching on mine yet. No pets, no kids might be the difference, too.

I need this screen protector because I put this screen in my pocket. :)
Honestly, I also thought about it, but passed.

I got the Photodon 9HO type screen protector. Very easy to put on. It is undersized by about 1 mm so you would have 0.5 mm gap on each side. I didn't center it that well so it is flush with the lower left corner and the gap is on the passenger side. Without looking very carefully I do not notice that there is a screen protector. It definitely helped reduce the fingerprints, but a little will still show up at the most frequently touched spots.
