Saw a grey SE with white roof and possibly sunroof, maybe Revolite rims outside HMart in Plano this evening, before it headed north on KAvenue. Caught up with us at the lights to adoring Creek Parkway but driver didn’t notice/care, lol!

If she lives on my block or around I let her charge in my L 2 bc my charging is for free of my Solar and a city of New York is paying me extra 10 C for KVH as long I charge my car in 5 boroughs 12 to 8 am on or in my garage which I always do only. What’s a deal?

A year ago, before I knew Kate was driving her SE only 80 miles a month and wasn't charging her SE at home, a power-line transformer blew out down at her end of the street. Trying to be a hero, I told her she could come charge at my house. She thanked me but said she didn't need a charge right then. I said if she ever forgets to charge for more than a month, she can limp over to my house in Green+ Mode and plug in.

Saw a BRG with black roof SE in Northeast Minneapolis on my commute home Friday. It was notable because I was far from any highway, on a surface street (29th Av NE), in the midst of city neighborhoods.

Must be me bc a car fit description of my SE is a joke I’m in NY but I meet also BRG today about 5 pm to be stack on Verrazano Bridge with all police assistance closing 1 lane which create here tremendous traffic but that 2 door Cooper was ACE car our SEs are indestructible and we never be in that situation or we out of electrons.

  9. Saw a black SE with yellow mirror caps today near Chelmsford common on the way to a library.

This is the first SE I’ve noticed in wild since I started looking for another one after I got mine 8 months ago.

Wow, nearly broke the non-identical MINI rule with my first SE sighting. Spotted a white-silver with black roof and mirrors while merging onto I84 west from I691 this morning. Drove near them through Waterbury. The only difference I could see to my car was chrome trim and no HUD. And they ended up parking in the faculty lot at my kid’s school.

Weird day: saw 3 SEs today, 2 at my sons' school at pickup. Another picking up dinner this evening. Have only seen 3 total since I bought mine 10 months ago.

I passed another Mini yesterday but it was after dark so I didn’t get a good look. Definitely a 2-door hard top. I noticed that it had Union Jack tail lights. Does that mean it is an SE or do the gas minis have this feature too?

  14. Very interesting! My wife (primary driver) and I have a 2022 White Silver Sig+ with black roof and mirrors (black Victory Spoke during summer; silver Loop Spoke winter) in the I84 - I691 vicinity. However, your sighting was not our MINI! Sooner or later, I suspect, we will all have an opportunity to share a parking lot. Incidentally, a BRG with black roof/mirrors lives one street away from us. Otherwise, I’ve seen few SEs in central Connecticut.

That might be a record in the wild.

Gas Minis do have the same tail lights. Next time look for exhaust pipes or lack there of.

Yeah, two fog lamps in the rear valence without a dual center exhaust is your giveaway (if you don’t see yellow badging).

Saw my first BRG locally on Monday. So at this point, in my part of the city I know of two Moonwalk, two Rooftop, a Chilli, and now a BRG (plus my IBM).

My '20 S (ICE) had the Union Jack lights.

It was almost certainly not an SE in that case.

It was dark and rainy and they were going the other way. I only saw the taillights in my mirrors. There was no chance of discerning a tailpipe under those conditions.

I suppose you could also tell by how frequently the brake lights go on and off… Lol

I have not seen any other SE in my area. Plenty of Minis in general of different types, but have not spotted a SE.
I do know that one frequents the area only by seeing it pop up on the local L3 charger in-use notification. Unfortunately always seem to be too busy to drive over to meet. :'-(

The yellow S in the Cooper S is handy to recognize one from the front, side of rear, plus the big yellow E badge on the rear.
    And no tailpipes of course.
The fender flares are taller also and the car looks like it sits a little taller…

And the drivers' smiles are bigger. ;)
