Rebuilding $96,000 Shocks on Bugatti and Teslas!

Our company has always been a huge supporter of innovation and reverse engineering. We visited our Tesla Roadster shock rebuilder this week that specializes in rebuilding high end shocks, ranging from the exotic Lamborghinis, Ferraris, to even the very low production exotics like Bugatti.
This vendor has been involved in the shock rebuild community for over 35 years. As manufacturers stop making certain shocks, especially for low production run, higher end exotic cars, shops like this are often the only recourse for rebuilding and making 30+ year old shock absorbers look and act like new!
Since Tesla Roadster shocks are no longer in production, we have this vendor rebuild our customer's shocks, and we are sharing what we learned about this often forgotten suspension component.
