I have a Model Y on order (Delivery some time in May) and I also ordered the Chademo adapter as I have access to many FREE Chademo chargers in my area.. I have heard conflicting information about Teslas and Chademo charging, at least on early Model S that Chademo charging degrades the battery more than Supercharging.. Is there truth to that and does this apply to newer model Teslas too? I currently own a 2019 Hyundai Kona Electric and I charge on 50kw CCS (same charger as the Chademo, just different plug) once a week (sometimes even multiple times per week) and I have almost 50k miles on my Kona (and over 150 CCS charges - mostly 50kw) and no range reduction/degradation yet. So, I wonder if charging Chademo once a week or once every 2 weeks will affect degradation on a Tesla?? Does anyone here have experience with that?
