I think you killed it with that price. We only get 1000 here in ca and we have to wait a couple weeks for it. I’m loving it right now. Coming from a 2016ilx. What about you?

Thanks (BTW: NO Sales tax in Oregon too, so only DMV Fee for New Car)

I am coming from 2014 Toyota Camry and I find the Safety and Driving features in this amazing. ACC, Lane Watch, LED Lighting all super good.

I drove 1st Time on Full Charge Yesterday and was able to get late 50s on Battery. Everything looking good till now. Absolutely Loving the Car considering I only had to pay extra $5K after Trade-In of 2014 Camry to get these Safety and Convenience Features.

That's perhaps the most unusual thing about the Clarity PHEV. You can know nothing about it, never even plug it in, and just drive it. It will still be a great hybrid car. Or you can obsess about all the various modes, thresholds, and regeneration levels and feel like you're operating a complicated machine that could never achieve it's highest purpose without your expert touch. I believe the Clarity PHEV's mysterious complexity is one of the reasons for the popularity of this forum.

    hi Sanman
I am looking to purchase a base, and auto nation offers me 25k, but can you share your strategy on how to get to $24.6 and how to figure out the cost of add-on accessories? Also, what is your otd price? they can only charge TTL and $85.00 doc fee, is that right?
    Thanks in advance.

Just picked up my 2020 Clarity touring yesterday for $28,212 plus TTL. I also qualified for the 1.9% special APR. A few dealers tried to bait and switch on me not allowing me to stack both incentives. You qualify for both ($6500) Honda Incentive and 1.9% apr. I purchased the car from Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos. Buying process was seamless, they matched Costco dealer and I dealt with the Internet director. I did not buy any extra warranty or maintenance. So far car is great

    Hi
Can you share your otd price?
Dealership is charging crazy extra fees on top of TTL.
    Appreciate your answer

You can use the "fees for a new vehicle" calculator at https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehicle-registration/registration-fees/ to see what the legitimate government registration fees and taxes are. It's especially useful to cross-check the sales tax amount -- a Toyota dealer tried to charge us hundreds of dollars more than it should have been. Turns out a corner of my zip code is in a city with a higher tax rate, and some dealer software doesn't take that into account. The DMV calculator asks for zip, county, and city, and shows it correctly.

So basically we will pay selling price plus tax title registration and document fee. Like I listed they told me those are Dmv mandatory fees. But check on Dmv website I don’t see those.
    Thanks everyone

Mind if I ask which dealership gave you the instant rebate? I asked multiple in the Portland metro area, all said they wouldn't offer it, so I gave up on the offer and will just mail it in sadly...

thanks all for sharing the price you paid.

This was dealers on the DEQ list linked? Can you PM me with any on the list that declined to offer it?
All the listed dealers have submitted the required paperwork and can offer it as point of sale. If they would not, that is something I would like to pass on the Oregon CVRP lead at DEQ.

We kinda stumbled into a Clarity but so far enjoying it. 2020 Touring in the Modern Steel Metallic color from Tonkin Gresham Honda. The internet price quoted was 28500. They also have a white touring for the same price still available for any Oregon folks still looking. Did not include the $2500 Oregon credit.

The buying process was really annoying. We wanted the gray one but turns out they didn't have it on the lot and pushed hard to sell the white one. We ended up getting the gray one and for the price. We looked and there weren't many touring and even less touring not in white in the state.

We ended up paying ~$29900 out the door with TTL + fees + dealer options installed ( mats, door guard) which they wouldn't remove or budge on the price (overpriced) .

I checked with Beaverton Honda, Tonkin Gresham Honda. Both said I have to deal with the State.
