Start with natural gas. There should be no reparations quite the opposite massive appropriate, accurate debt should be affixed due immediately. NG companies should be liquidated and made to pay for dismantling NG infrastructure, bulldozing even new NG plants and paying for the replacement with new green energy replacements but barred any share in the replacements- replacements should be based on coop models the community owns- no more energy rent seeking- that needs to become illegal. But even before coops roof top solutions must be prioritized- grid connect fee should be reduced to zero or permanently waived. Pierce the corporate veils and the trusts and foundations and after liquidation revoke the corporate charters permanently. Fossil fuels should equal strict unlimited liability- its obviously completely constitutional. Make investing in fossil fuels a felony with strict enforcement. The energy needed for the average life is present in massive abundance and the cost in terms of time, will and life energy expended needs to be zero for energy- "too cheap to meter." Need to bar petroleum industry in the same way from their trying to push toxic petrol materials or trying to get into water privatization. These parasites were paid off a long time ago, what is left is the disgorgement of their ill gotten gain and the retroactive right sizing of their undue influence and exacting a properly punitive extraction cost on them for the lost opportunity cost to others with interest.

Applies to coal, gas, oil equally and to materials. Where a clean replacement is possible it must be favored down to tax differences. Also have to hit pharmaceuticals- they are beyond pathetic, no more public patents ever being issued to private firms. If a public university produces a patent or IP that should be a royalty that accrues to the university to fund more research for the benefit of humanity and available to the manufacturing community generally in exchange for low royalty payments. Idea that governments can't negotiate with drug companies is saying the public can't negotiate- no!!! the public can dictate terms to these entities or simply raise them to the ground and zero them out. The contrary approach subject to law and due process should be death penalty type stuff for both the corporate charters and the human advocates- talk about an enemy of the public. Also, can't have for profit immune from civil suit vacine companies. Have to hope that the legitimate power remaining will turn against the slavery that is fossil fuels.

GM and Ford just announced that they are planning for only 5% of their vehicles to be EVs in the US by 2026. What is it that changed pre CV and post CV with them?
When GM needs another bailout its ownership in preferred shares should be issued to the government. A condition of its bailout should be that it will not build any more ICE vehicles ever or its charter will be yanked. And that the buy back of its shares from the government 1 to 1 will only be open to employees as preferred stock not from the manager or execs ranks. GM executives and managers in the corporate charter should forever be barred from owning shares. The workers must also have veto power over everything.
The intent for both GM and Ford (which will both need bailouts) should be to make them fully employee owned (FCA may need a bailout but is not a US firm anymore- but same terms if it is given anything) but in a way that always and by design gives the workers the ultimate power in all decisions. No way to argue that this is inefficient or wouldn't perform as well because these companies already suck so bad they can't survive, even without CV they were dead. Its about time the people who made all the contributions in these companies and made all the sacrifices are allowed the share and say based on their efforts and the pimps are fired having been paid off through theft countless times over in the past for their actual non contributions- the parasites with zero social utility for the organization finally need to be ejected.

We should have been done with fossil fuels 70 years ago. Could have had zero point in the 20s and clean safe forms of fission in the 50s. Now we have passive green systems. This was never about anything more than slavery. They figured cutting Japan's oil helped them prevail in the 40s and so we've had them pushing something with a property model that they know leads to slavery and dependence out of a nothing but a control mentality.

  3. Could have, should have .... I'm on the same page, however, the sustainable way doesn't have a lobby. But the fossil fuel industry has a HUGE one, they even have a president in the white House.

The ultimate fossil fuel industry lobby.

So, great thoughts, lost cause ... At least for now.
