My local Mini dealer in Northern CA has 2 new SEs on the lot - one Iconic and Signature. However, this dealer charges ADM on every car they sell. They told me they charge a $4K mark up on all cars, so I ordered from another dealer about 100 miles.

how are you pulling that data, teslarati97? I looked at the source for the inventory page and didn't see how to get that info.
does anyone else think that the miniusa.com website seems as though it was created by some high school students? Sometimes it pops, but most of the times it just hangs. I can't load the miniusa inventory...
It royally sucks. Slow, hard to navigate. They tried too hard to make it cool. It tends to freeze... I spent days failing to configure my SE online. I eventually begged the salesguy to just send me a list of options. The entire f56SE options list was three pages. An hour later, I knew exactly what I wanted. I did an online deposit then went in to the dealers to get him to fix the options. A lot are apparently not on the website, hence my trouble finding them... Isn't the whole idea of website ordering to avoid people needing to go to a dealer? Call me weird, but they should try an 'advanced ordering page' It lists all available options. No graphics. Detailed explanations available in text, not graphics. You click checkboxes next to the options you want. Then, because they must have some bling, one button at the bottom for a slowly loading and crashy render of your frankencar. None of this drilling back and forth through 20 slowly loading and crashy pages with only 2/3 of the options.
Well, the one that I ordered now in my dealer’s new inventory, listed as “in transit.” (Might have been listed a while ago, but I only learned the VIN this week.)
I've never seen an SE listed in my dealers inventory. My SE was one of three they had in a delivery, so they are definitely selling them.
I keep expecting the one I passed on to show up, but nothing so far, even though it arrived at the east coast a couple of weeks ago.
11/18/2022 158 Perhaps relatedly (or not), the asking price for a low mileage used SE at a local non-MINI dealership has dropped ~$1500 over the last week or thereabouts. It's still almost as much as a new one, though.
I just test drove one this afternoon, a 2022 with barely over 1K miles on it. (It still had ‘new-car-smell,’ FFS!). And, it was just about $7500 cheaper than the one that I ordered. The funny thing is that it’s still better equipped than the one that I ordered, by virtue of the features that went bye-bye due to supply chain issues. It’s not the color that I would have picked, but I think I’m going to buy it!
We ordered a mini in June. Once we got the Vin number we looked at it on the vin decoder website and saw they had the wrong wheels on it. They had to reorder ours, but got a production slot of a week later from our original one. The original one just arrived at the dealership today. I've been checking their website to see if it shows up and it hasn't yet. On the other hand our other one with the correct wheels has been sitting at the port across the pond for almost a month.
Sounds like a fantastic deal, at least in this market. The one I've been tracking is only the 2nd I've seen that is less than new, and it's only ~$1k under.
