We are going for a week in mid August. I have a J1772 mobile charger very much like this that supports up to 16amps which has the regular NEMA-5-15 plug I believe which I'd like to use to charge my 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. I am confused, what kind of adapters should I get to be safe while camping?
If your camping and want a 5-15 outlet the most useful adapters would probably be a 14-50p(plug) to 5-15R (receptacle) which is standard for large RV's or a TT-30P to 5-15R which is common for travel trailers at camp grounds. Blow are links to a couple of examples. These will both work to charge your Outlander. Of course most sites that have a NEMA 14-40 or tt-30 outlet will also have a 5-15 outlet. https://smile.amazon.com/s?k=5-15r+to+14-50p+adapter&crid=3Q6H4VJGKNIX2&sprefix=5-15r+to+14-50p+adapter%2Caps%2C180&ref=nb_sb_noss_1 https://smile.amazon.com/TT-30P-5-15R-Female-30Amp-Adapter/dp/B082X66CHW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=2YAB2O0DVBZI8&keywords=5-15r+to+tt-30p+adapter&qid=1657741481&sprefix=5-15r+to+tt-30p+adapter%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzREY1TE5IQjJLU01VJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjM0MTk4MktINjZQQk1IREdXTiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTU5NzU3M0wxN1c0V0NZRk1aNSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
In the US a NEMA 14-50 is quite common -- and in that case you may be more happy with a more powerful mobile charger that uses a 14-50p directly, like https://www.amazon.com/MUSTART-Portable-Charger-Electric-Charging/dp/B07THBGGMG This will charge much more quickly than your NEMA 5-15 plug charger.
