I picked up the first brochure for the 2020 MINI Cooper SE at MINI of Ann Arbor today. I was amazed at how dark the photos were. The photos on page 4 were so dark it was difficult to see much of anything. What's the photographer's excuse for the photo of the distinctive wheel on page 3? Not only is half of the wheel in a dark shadow, the half that's obscured is what makes the wheel design so distinctive! I used Photoshop to try and brighten the photos, but there's only so much Photoshop can do. I don't know why this brochure doesn't specify the 2020 model year and why it refers to a 0-62 mph time of 7.3 seconds rather than the much more satisfying 0-60 mph time of 6.9 seconds. The brochure is clearly intended for a US audience, and US tire-kickers expect to see the 0-60 mph time. Unfortunately, the most important information for potential BEV customers is not included: the EPA estimated range.
