Nice that the Ariya now can charge on the Supercharger network, however owners should be aware to purchase the adapter from Nissan as it includes a special filler insert included in the adapter box sold by Nissan. "It is to make the lockout work with the adapter. There is a pin in that area on the "official" adapter that prevents the Supercharger cable lock from being depressed while the adapter is attached to the vehicle. Without this plastic piece in place you could detach the Supercharger cable while actively charging. There is a switch on the button of the adapter to shut down the charger (so it won't be a safety issue if the plastic spacer is not installed), but this would prevent someone from unplugging you, and taking the adapter."
