Interesting, thanks for posting. I believe it will all depend on the next step change in battery tech. Current lithium-ion won't get the job done. Too heavy, too expensive, too slow to charge. My guess would be something solid state but it's anyone's guess and the answer will determine rate of EV adoption. BTW, I wouldn't take anything Exxon says too seriously. Beyond their obvious vested interest in carbon they're not a very good oil company these days.
