Curious if anyone has noticed the losses in range or kWh when the ID4 is parked for any length of time.

Can the thing be shut down somehow to reduce losses?

Does it try to maintain optimum battery temperature ALL the time, like when parked over night at -20C? That would be one heck of a vampire drain.

I haven't seen something like that, but at -20C, it wouldn't surprise me if it did some amount of battery warming (maybe not the optimal temperature). The only way to know for sure would be to have some sort of VCDS like tool to ask the car what it is doing.

Over on a Tesla forum they have several tricks to ensure the car goes into sleep mode. And when it does, there's a physical relay or contactor that opens, separating the high main battery from all the subsidiary 12V systems.
Tesla says to keep it plugged in, but that's not always possible, like in airport parking (or our condo.
