I'm trying to get in a reservation (the queue per ce), it's really vauge, the website just seems to send me to "get updates". Anyone know what the deal is here? I'm trying to order the platinum FYI. Thanks!
Ford already have over 200,000 reservation on the lightning not including fleet sales. Ford closed reservation several month ago and you can no longer reserve one. The current reservation will take until about 2025 to fill. In 2025 the second generation lightning is supposedly going to be released. The only way to get one now will be to wait for an order cancellation at a dealer.
The only way to get one from a dealer, anyway. There will be many profiteers looking to sell the day they take delivery, although Ford may attempt to forestall flippers with a contract like the one they created for the most recent Ford GT.
