  1. I'm about to order a Tesla Model Y, and I'll have 2 charging opportunities at home: a J1772 unit at my condo in the city, and a NEMA 14-50 outlet at my cottage. I know both J1772 and 14-50 are easily available, but the question I forgot to ask the Tesla dude when I did a test drive: is there an on-board timer available to set charging times (eg. charge only between 7 pm and 7 am), or will I need to rely on an EVSE to do that? I'd rather not buy an EVSE if I don't need to, seeing as the outlet is already there.

  4. Excellent - as long as it's there, I don't need to worry.
