  1. Hi,

So I went to my dealership and they barely could here the noise ( hard to hear but once you hear it, you cannot miss it anymore). They were going to take it for some testing, in the meantime I started pressing everything and the noise seems to be coming from the HUD projector.

Whenever the HUD is off no more noise! They will test with a brand new car see if it's a "normal" noise.

Man, if it’s not one “problem”, then it’s another, there seems no end to it. Beginning to think there must be something wrong with my Kona, it has been perfect from day1, that can’t be right.

Wait a minute, wait a minute, perhaps it’s ME! Perhaps I best get a checkup, my doc is great!

Ah, problem solved, I feel much better already...I think?

  4. Mine has been nearly perfect as well but I understand how stressful it can be to encounter issues with a new car.

  5. That's...not attractive.

  6. That's partly the point ... it works and I don't actually notice it.
If I asked the dealer to fix it they would have a tech rip the trim apart, fail to find anything and I'd end up with even more rattles.

  10. First of all: oh no. Second of all: bless you for reading a bit and finding the correct relevant thread instead of starting another one.

  11. Sorry to hear that, this thread might be more applicable to a ticking or knocking. Make a recording if you feel up to it.
