  1. I’ve noticed on at least two occasions that my heated steering wheel would turn itself off. Is this some automated feature or a bug in the system?

  3. I noticed this myself a couple of weeks ago, and figured it was like the rear defroster, in that it will turn off after a set time.

Checking my manual I found this (page 3-18):

    Heated Steering Wheel (if equipped)
When the POWER button is in the ON position or when the vehicle is in the ready ( ) mode, press the heated steering wheel button to warm the steering wheel.
The indicator on the button will illuminate.
To turn the heated steering wheel off, press the button again. The indicator on the button will turn off.
The heated steering wheel will automatically turn off after approximately 30 minutes.

  4. Thanks for that. It explains everything. Curious feature though it’s easy enough to turn back on.
