Gates outs himself

Gates just made some statements to the effect of Tesla has had no impact on the EV revolution (paraphrase) which is desperately revisionist but more directly is trying to say the EV revolution is contained and can't spread to logistics broadly including marine or to airlines or air freight and in particular saying certain Tesla products can't succeed like the semi- but without naming the Tesla semi this time. He may be in denial but here he seems to be contorting to the point of discrediting himself. The things he is saying are obviously untrue even to the non specialist. He has been saying this type of stuff for a while including that divestment of fossil fuels does nothing and that fossil fuel wealth will be needed to address climate change. Here he seems to be trying to soothe the oil patch and keep divestment from happening. Its like a recent article in a Huston paper talking about EVs at 2.6% of the market and only being projected to be 10% by 2030 by fossil fuel owned estimators. On the contrary! It is crucial that wealth be re-distributed away from fossil fuels in a mass exodus away from the slavery of democracy destroyng fossil fuel proprerty models to the rent killing people income enhancing decentralization of green!

More and more it appears there is only one thing Gated cares about and that is 'natural gas' and fracking. His use ofvthr terms "biogas" and "hydrogen" are code for natural gas. And he tries to advocate these as carbon "neutral" when they are totally obvious diesel gate II long tail pipe scams but which critically undermine human survival especially with their kick the ponzi can down the road bridge scam scenario.

We should be aware that more than gas comes up out of the ground now with NG- also some oil. Their pipe dream is they can create a closed loop system that puts all the co2 right back in the ground and keeps it there. Not going to happen and we're not going to let our government continue to waste the society's resources on this constantly collapsing ponzi. Not when it can't work economically even on the open loop- and is collapsing and being bailed out endlessly even as its hyper subsidized. Not endlessly supporting the stupid and blind forms of investment and certainly not in a time of utter crisis- cutting it loose is a demonstration of required virtue. Natural gas was all about a moted for rent seeking and that was all it really was- could have transitioned to better things long ago.

More than anything we need free- uncaptured-open-honest information systems to avoid oligarchy and law as crime. Tesla shows you don't need bribery based sponsored media to do the right thing and make a real difference. Its example along with our history prior to qm1970 shows you don't need bribery based media to run for office. Our laws used to make bribery illegal and forbid media systems based on it- sponsorship is death. But look now at what we have because of it: https://bulletin.represent.us/u-s-oligarchy-explain-research/

Oligarchs like Gates and their puppets like Hillary (sold natural gas under Cheny and Bush) get listened to and the people get ignored. We got 911 to push the ng scam- that was the ponzi behind the PNAC and Enron was a prefiguration.

A functioning democracy would never allow the criminal natural gas ponzi to continue or even get started! Countless lives and 10s of trillions have been wasted on this non viable rent seeking ponzi.

Notice rolling black outs are back in CA and Skilling is out early and back in 'energy.' This all goes back to 911 and us allowing the attempt to formally replace our democracy with oligarchy- imagine another Clinton, Bush or Trump in office. Foreign countries have more say over American's than Americans do under oligarchy. Allowing the natural gas ponzi to continue would mean we don't survive the climate crisis and it means we lose our democracy completely and likely perish in war sooner even than the effects of climate instability get to us.

But notice 'energy' rent seeking is over.
Only Chevron temporarily remains in the
Dow 30 and Tesla has more than 2x its valuation. So called 'energy' makes up about 2% of the Dow 30 now (fossil pusher banks on the list need their books purged of fossil fuel garbagr or need to be ejected) but fossil fuel exposure will drop to zero soon. Don't even need petrol for plastic or materials anymore. So-called 'energy' producers are being advised to put chargers in at fuel stations to survive. Not going to work- decentralized means energy rent seeking is over. We charge at home.

Noticed Buffet after being a buyer of last resort for the natural gas wreckage in the South (Covid was just a distraction not the cause) has now unloaded about half of Berkshires Well Fargo investment. Wells Fargo was the one bank in the 07 collapse that wasn't loaded down with insuring the bad debt on toxic stranded fossil fuel 'assets' (the ponzi called derivatives- which the oligarchs lied and said was about homes for poor people- 90% plus of global derivatives were and still are in fossil fuels- the big thing is what they are insuring becomes secret to outsiders- its just like a dumb criminal shell company game but it also spreads out the risk across companies to socialize losses- something only corrupted sponsored government could allow.) Wellsfargo was forced to take on a bunch of that garbage from other banks that were failing over it. So this flight by Buffet from Wells Fargo may be like the flight from Enron by its execs when they learned the ship was sinking. Remember Skilling's great ponzi accelerator of "mark to market"? That was where they claim full profit on the books for any deal they ink even if it is 10 years from starting ti pay off if at all. A bit lit their new invention of collateralizing your saving to kick the can on ponzi derivatives. Well its the same for the book value of these garbage fossil fuel companies. That number that 75% must stay in the ground according to climate activists conveniently matches the %75 or more of their book value that is ponzied kick the can string along derivatived no skin in the game socialized eventual loss that is permanently stranded asset vaporware. What was done with Enron could be done with all of them but under the oligarchy Bush and the PNAC people foisted (should have been called the project to over throw the American people) we just don't do law enforcement anymore! So 75% of their book value which was speculative to begin with is non existent and even with hyper subsidies and now protective tarifs they need to borrow to pay dividends (always have) and still need bailouts in the form of TAARPs or wars- and natural gas is worse!!! TAARP funny that we learned that was giving 16 trillion in US money to global fossil fuel banks with no repayment terms and no interest to kick the can some more.

Of course this oligarchic impovershing destabilizing thievery can't compete with a rock solid reliable speculation proof snap in instant green replacement that is trending to free on the commodity it produces. The crap fossil fuel sector is like a telco that wants to sell you a cell phone with a long distance minutes scam and with minutes and bills that go up by unpredictable amounts every month and which has service interruptions and dead spots. Green is like having no rent seeking telco and a handset that just works without having to support a bunch of unnecessary extorting parasite rent seekers that use your money to lobby against your fundamental rights and for the abolition of democracy to make you and your family into property.

So look at Microsoft. Its valuation is based on its turning people's desktops into spyware platforms without their permission- its a theft people would never assent to, but they are also complict with helping the state spy big brother style on its citizen- after saying they wouldn't. Like telcos who haved decided they can sell your phone call contents for extortion purposes. Also as we've learned Microsoft's revenues are based to an extent on trying to kick the fossil fuel ponzi can down the road by doing everything possible to help 'energy' companies to transition because we will need more energy- as if green isn't adequate millions of times of over! The problem is these people are all intermarried in a class and they view this extractive theft as their familial inheritance- not property that has to be returned with interest and dissuasive penalties. Carlos Ghosn did a Marie Anntonnette party. That thing Hillary was caught up in was called "The Family." Bush had an evangelical mega church pastor addicted to speed and male prostitutes- ideology here only seems as deep as money but the contempt of public runs deep. And Gates invests in things like Terrapower and Quantumscape apparently for the same reason Chevron invests in sodium batteries. Its all apparently defensive rear-guard stuff. Its killing better would be competitor tech by co-option. Promising avenues are quietly scuttled. Its not that different than GM's placation with EV1 or its compliance vehicle Bolt. Its straight faced lies to the public about the public interest kind of stuff- but being Machiavellian actually just makes them stupid. Gates also gets involved in the climate movement to try to steer it away from real action which would obviously wipe out the natural gas ponzi.

Symbolically Tesla is in Texas and in Berlin. Symbolically Musk is about to over take Gates on the rich list. And Tesla will soon over take Microsoft on revenue and market cap. Gates has been involved in some textual prefiguration narratives like covid- so has popular fiction like some of the Dean Koonts books. In one of his newest series Koontz tries to warn about would be oligarchs dressed in techno garb- calls them "Techno Arcadians." Book series is a warning about inbred insular insolent oligarchic idiots with exclusive control of existential tech to mass enslave- paints a picture of a set of values.

The whole bases for natural gas was the alure of its dumb finders keeper hard to drink the milk shake property model. They thought they would give the state (the people) a nickel and take a turn key quadrillion unassailable uncontestsble get rich quick something for nothing scam. They had some other angles like it being radio decay based and therefore not practically limited on supply only on extraction to play out DeBeers scams. Energy from the sky has neither limitation. They were wiped out by the most pedantic slow heat neutral of approaches. The intent behind green is good. Their intents were at best fear or greed based. US has to wake up and refocus on democracy, equity and justice.

We have 20 years of house keeping to do and we can't let statutes of limitation get in the way of restoring real democracy.

Now Gates is saying Musk hasn't made much of a difference in green. But that would be compared to Gate's green washing and trying to hobble green to protect his precious shale. Shale is all he seems to care about. Take his other focus: vacines. Well Japan dropped vacines 30 years ago and never looked back and only saw improved results causing the rest of the world except for the US and France to follow suit.

Now Gates has suddenly left the boards of MS and Berkshire (I was wrong he wasn't on the Quantumscape) board. How convenient that Berkshire refers to a black pig- a reference to the porcine capitalist pig club at Harvard? The vacines in the US style he/is was pushing were/are ridiculous. They aren't tested because the US Army Bio-warfare group (the CDC) doesn't want its expediency restricted and it has jurisdiction. The producers are for profit and outrageously indemnified from harm. They also engage in massive propaganda and have lobbied to get constitutional law breaking rules put in place to force these things on people and their children. These are also not actually vacines or the safer still new mrna preparations and not the much safer oral preparations but the injectibles. Theyvare also the older much riskier than vaccines tech of innoculations.
And they tend to be loaded with multiple pathogen antibodies per injection. And their flu vaccine (innoculation) preparations don't seem to have cut down on the flu or colds in fact our rates especially among children have shot up to epudemic levels. They don't seem that safe or effective and seem aimed more at rent seeking and public placebo. In the mean time microbiome medicine like gama globulin has been suppresed- see raw bovine colostrum use suppression. Also homeopathy which they don't like because it runs counter to their IP rent seeking schemes has been and dismissed because it runs counter to sponsor corrupted medicine taught in sponsored medical schools- but the Queen's physcian is first and foremost a homepath because it addresses in a more pinpoint way without side effects a wider range of maladies including effecting cures for some chronic and otherwise permanent illnesses untouchable by allopathy so far.

Um... What on earth are you talking about? I can't find any evidence of Gates saying anything of the sort.

    Gates:
To paraphrase everywhere in a riff on the "you're no JFK" presidential debate put down is Gates in a soft ball set up answering no- Musk is no Steve Jobs, EVs are the easiest part of the climate change problem.

Now I can't stand the great person or Hegelian notion of the instrument of the idea's progression and helpless acceptance of it, but who else is making a difference? Gates? He's a totally obvious damn greenwasher in the way of progress only there to keep progress from happening on green because it would harm his precious but totally unjustifiable and ridiculous natural gas. Who else comes close? The guy behind 350.org?
Its true, Musk is no Steve Jobs, Jobs was a unique individual so no one is a Jobs and while Jobs did contribute more than Gates and while Jobs was more virtuious than Gates (more open minded, actually honest, able to come back and over come all the way to the top, not actually greedy, produced higher quality products, didn't pander to shareholders, didn't have evil products, didn't have to pretend to have other motives than he does) some how and surely not because of some special person theory- even though Musk is just getting started if you want to do baseball card type trading on tasks associated with these rich pagent celbrities that almost none of us know personally- Musk has already done more than Jobs and Gates combined and he is just getting started and the CEO community recognized that even 4 years ago by voting on it. So it looks like Gates has a case of Musk envy which would puts him in the company of Milton in wanting to out Musk, Musk. To do that you need actually good causes, not greenwashing.

Gates still has the opportunity to do great good in the world he just has to abandon his current causes which seem to be centered on rent seeking and further concentrating already unjustifiable power.
But if you don't have a equity and equality view of justice it is a leap to switch to doing actual consistent good in the world. The skills needed to win in a certain way at the game of business (no question he has those) are not the same in intent or application as the skill needed to really improve the world. There is a real difference a lot of which comes down to values and actual intent.

Gates never disparaged Musk. He just said that you can't compare Jobs and Musk because they have different approaches to things. I mean. You are reading volumes behind that comment. Plus, Gates never offered the comparison - it was a journalist. Don't see why this is a big deal. The real issue here is the Musk obsessed people who turn everything besides blinding praise into some massive insult. Its like middle school drama, but for adults. lol I'd be willing to bet that Gates did not mean that as an insult. Gates has never said that Musk hasn't contributed anything to addressing climate change - your claim. Nor has he disparaged what Musk has done.

There's no possible way you could know if Gates is jealous of Musk. That is ridiculous. Why would he be jealous? There's no reason to be. You are just attributing malice to Gates because you don't like him.

Gates seems to care far more about his medical charity stuff more so than anything else. So what? Gates is now super evil because he wants to eradicate diseases like polio or malaria? Considering how you seem to be an anti-vaxxer, I'm not really surprised you think that. Also, Climate change isn't going to cause humans to go extinct.

No, I'm not a communist, so I don't view justice through the lenses of equity or equality.

Having an offensive pseudnym like 'Southern Dude' suggest you're likely pro slavery in general but along racial lines in particular and your comments on justice also imply you're not aware of what communism means or even reasonably aware of US traditions or institutions. And if that is the case funny thing is Marx was trying to help people like you not to be to be victimized by rich self appointed elites.
The main thing he cared about was that ordinary people by roll of the dice didn't become the property of the rich. You also apparently don't understand freedom because without justice based in equity you can't be free, because the rich and the strong will just brand you property because you lack money. They won't care about the color of your skin- anyone that isn't rich becomes disposable trash to be discarded accordingly.

lol. What are you talking about? I'm a dude from the south, so Southern Dude. It's literally that simple. I have no clue how you jump from Southern Dude to being some type of crazy slavery enthusiast. I think that the US would have been better off if the slave trade had never even happened. Why would I have wanted it to happen? It was an evil institution. What is it with you and attributing malice to everyone? You do realize that everyone who doesn't agree with you on everything isn't some evil sociopath right?

Nah. I'm perfectly aware of US traditions and institutions. Problem is that equality and equity no longer mean have the same meanings they used to, hence why I don't care for either term. More on that later. Marx's ideas have caused nothing but destruction. I don't care about whatever intentions you assign him; the ideas behind communism don't work, never have worked, and never will work.

    >Freedom from rich people 'owning' you or 'victimizing' you
Please. lol. my sides. Virtually every communist state that has ever existed has essentially owned its citizens and victimized them far worse than what's happened in any non communist state. I can't tell if you are agreeing with communism or not or if you are just stating what you assume Marx's intent was. God help you if you are a communist.

Back to the whole equality and equity issue. Equality doesn't mean equal treatment for the same category under the law and equity doesn't mean impartial treatment under the law. Equality now means that all groups should fall under the same laws regardless if that is sensible or not. Equity has essentially been warped into 'equality of outcomes' and the sneaky version of that concept 'equal access to opportunity', both of which are essentially impossible to achieve without ultimately destroying society. This is never how things were traditionally done. Now, I could go into more detail, but I'm sure it would ruffle a few feathers. lol. But to give a hint, I would describe my views as being a mix of paleo-conservatism and libertarianism.

  11. Well, at least with 101's last post, we understand better where he is coming from. And yes, big diff between ensuring equal opportunity/fairness and driving for equal outcomes. The latter actually never happens in communist or marxist regimes anyway, as they are inherently corrupt where the elite rulers look after themselves and their families/friends first, and their subjects are not free to vote them out, or even criticize them without fear of retribution.

The US may not be perfect (what country is), but at least it is a democracy with a strong constitution that protects freedoms,... and looks after the weak and in need. And if you don't like the govt you have, you can vote them out.

No. there really isn't much of a difference between equality of outcomes and equal access to opportunities. Just think about it and you'll figure it out.

  14. Help me out, am not getting it. By equal opportunities I mean equal, not trying to even things out by making one group more equal than others. Equal outcomes means playing robin hood.

  15. SouthernDude

    SouthernDude Active Member

Think about this question: How do you enforce equal access to opportunities?

  16. Well, anti discrimination laws for one. People shouldn't be excluded from work or school based on race, religion, etc.

  17. SouthernDude

    SouthernDude Active Member

That's one aspect. Those laws are essentially the bedrock for affirmative action programs. The existence of public schools is another. Same logic will be used to ultimately push in tax payer funded college education. Ultimately, the logical conclusion of 'equal access to opportunity' is ultimately a slippery slope to 'equality of outcomes'. And no, in this case, the slippery slope is not the actual 'slippery slope' fallacy.

  18. Yes, I know what you mean by the slippery slope. And I don't consider affirmative action programs to be equal opportunity, the opposite actually which is used to drive for equal outcomes. When I say equal opportunity, I mean equal.

I am not going to propose any real solutions here, as that is not so simple. But I do agree with freedoms and true democracy, where people get to decide how they want to live. The challenge of course is that one person's freedom doesn't impinge on another's freedom. Like I said it is not so simple. But from world experience and history, I know communism and marxism is not the answer.

Great video by Gallileo Russell on Gates
as I say outting himself in public enemy fashion

There were a couple of responses I liked:

"Regarding Bill Gates...let's do a deeper dive:

    1. He stole or low-balled other people's IP to create Microsoft. Nothing Microsoft produced was original.

    2. Monopolized PC operating system with some of the worst quality, bug infested code. Windows to this day, is an insecure OS. Microsoft flooded the industry with shitty buggy products.

    3. Microsoft Zune, Windows CE phones. and other copy cat consumer products that were utter failures.

    4. Retires and become involved with politics....Publicly backed the Inheritance Tax in the 2000s. Claiming no one should have the unrestrained ability to horde wealth and pass it down family bloodlines. Then it's revealed he had lobbied and benefited on new tax loopholes for the rich to safe guard their wealth from the Inheritance Tax with Trust funds. Essentially skirt any taxes for his kids

    5. Claims to be a philanthropist with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to usher in vaccinations for third world countries. When in fact he desires to limit global population and is a believer in Eugenics. His late father believed in culling the human population of useless eaters. Here now, we have Gates giving improperly tested vaccines to children resulting in 50,000+ deaths in Africa. Ooops! Or was it on purpose?

Now he wants us to trust him on his proposals of mass vaccinations, digital tracking, monitoring, and prohibition if you are not part of the program of vaccinations.

    6. Recently with Elizabeth Warren's proposed Wealth Tax targeting billionaires.....when asked if he were to have to vote for Warren or Trump, he would re-elect Trump

    I rest my case.

Bill Gates is a deceitful sack of ****. A predatory capitalist and sociopath. He's not only delusional, he is dangerous. This is what differentiates the types of people once reaching obscene levels of wealth. What you do with it, reveals what you are. Egotistic sociopaths only want to solidify and grow their power and wealth. Buffet, Gates, Bezos, the Koch Bros., the Walton family, etc. all share this similar pattern. That's how anyone can differentiate Elon Musk from your stereotypical robber baron billionaire

    Former Democrat:

He's also involved in ID2020, and the pandemic exercise that somehow turned out to be real"

As I've mentioned he seems like the same person to me as Hillary with her "deplorables" or Ruth Bader Ginsburg with her ironic comment that Roe meant certain undesireable populations were kept down. Fake liberals.

As mentioned above, his public speaking against blood line inheritances while funding lobbying for it behind the scenes, same MO with his greenwashing and vaccine pushing- these things make him stupid and weak to my way of looking at things. Not that you'd underestimate a snake. But the Machiavelians are the definition of pure idiot. An idiot savant like island of ability can't make up for a missing soul. I guess they provide props for the play but no one should confuse the part of a buffoon for another.

Another stupid typical trick. The OpenAI lanuguage (don't recall if it was neural net specific) is now the exclusive property of Microsoft. So something that was meant to prevent dumb opportunism from killing us is now the exclusive instrument of dumb opportunism.
