Just curious if anyone with the gap between A pillar and dashboard on the drivers side has been successful in getting it fixed. My local dealer looked at it and said "we think we can fix it but Honda has to issue a SB or authorization before we do". If you have had it fixed...can you upload the repair order or describe what was done/how it was fixed and whether it was a big deal or not? This would give me something to take to the dealer. I have contacted Honda support and they say they will look into it...but...any supporting documentation on a fix would be appreciated. Thanks.
In post 41 of this thread, there is a dealer repair order for that gap. It frequently causes noise problems as documented by many posts in several threads on here. Post #41 shows a repair order for the rattle noise coming from the speakers...apply foam tape etc. Good info but doesn't apply to the dashboard gap. Dashboard is lower by 1/2 an inch versus other side...you can even see the foam along firewall.Hopefully someone will respond. Thumbnail of gap is below. Thanks for the effort.
