I have just bought a second vehicle, a used 2014 Ford Fusion Energi, and was wondering if I could get some detailed information about the HV battery and its associated warranty numbers. I know that the battery is covered for 10y/150k (as I live in a CARB state), however the Warranty booklet does not actually state at what point Ford considers a battery to be abnormally degraded. For example, with my Honda Clarity, Honda outlined that a battery whose capacity reaches below 36.6Ah within the warranty period is considered defective. No such specific numbers are spelled out by Ford.
I was also wondering what the original battery capacity is for a 2014 Ford Fusion Energi, and how might I check the current battery capacity? The range seems unusually low, like half of the original 21 miles. I want to have this information before asking a Ford dealer to perform diagnostics and potentially charge me service fees and coming out empty-handed.

    Cheers
