Extended Parking

    Is there any special prep or protocol for an extended parking of an electric car? I’m traveling for six weeks and am curious.

    2019 Hyundai Kona Ultimate, Roswell, NM
    I would leave the battery charged somewhere in the middle. Around 60-70%.

    This, and don't leave it plugged in to the charger.

    Some EVs have a tendency to drain their 12V batteries. A battery tender is a good idea if feasible.

    I left my 2019 Leaf for 6 weeks in an underground garage, not plugged in. It was at about 70% when I left, and lost 7% while I was away. My 12V was fine, though I do have a NOCO battery booster for that, should I need it.
