I think you will find the the algorithm constantly adjusts the EV range shown in the center display to reach 0 when the battery depletes down to 2 bars (the limit of the usable charge).
At least that’s what mine does.

And one more time, the graph on the left of the center display is NOT a battery gauge and it’s display of estimated range does not tell you how much charge is in the battery. Only the number of bars on the battery gauge on the DDI or battery icon in the center display (or Honda Link) will tell you that.

If it wasn't clear in some of my other posts, I don't like it either LOL. It's a nice way to guesstimate my miles but I now always view it knowing it won't be accurate if yesterday is/was just slightly off than today.

Happy to help. I had known about the difference in elevation since it was always cooler at my house than it was at my work, and since that was really the only variable in my drives, I presumed it to be the cause. Glad to see it has been corroborated.

What would be cool is if you could type in your destination and it would calculate your % of battery used based on the elevation delta, temp, traffic, etc of that trip, as well as your driving style.

I drive the exact same path everyday going to and returning from work, as do most.

It could let you know exactly how much time charging needed.

Maybe one day, Evs will accept aps that the public can create & sell.
