Please post a list of what you think needs to be backed up with citations. We've talked about many points and issues here.

But overall, David, your attitude is very much that of the short-term investor. Even if it's true that you are not personally a "short" investor in TSLA, despite posting exactly the same arguments and FUD posted by those "short" investors who attack Tesla on a daily basis on Seeking Alpha and elsewhere...

Even if you're not personally a "short" investor in Tesla, your entire attitude is that of the short-term investor, and your entire view of Tesla's business is grossly distorted by that attitude. I've just written a rather extensive post about that for the "Having Fun with Autoline Daily" discussion thread, so no need to repeat that here.

Your obsession with the short-term price fluctuations in Tesla's highly volatile stock merely underscores my point about you focusing on short-term finances, and how grossly that is distorting your perception of Tesla's business. Thank you for making my case for me. (And why are you crowing about a drop in TSLA price if you're not shorting the stock? Hmmm?)

Again I don't want to repeat all the comments I just wrote elsewhere, but it seems appropriate here to repeat this section of my longer post:

Elon Musk took a lot of flak for his rudeness to some investors during the last quarterly conference call with investors, but he was absolutely on target when he said:

Really, the problem is like people get too focused on like what's happening in the space of a few weeks or a few months. This is -- maximum of investing should not be focused on short-term things. You should be focused on long-term things. We have no interest in satisfying the desires of day traders, like we couldn't care less. Please sell our stock and don't buy it.
