Does anyone have a good understand of the 'Eco Score' screen that appears when you shut down the vehicle? There is a very brief mention of it in the manual under the heading 'Drive Cycle Score.' We seem to always have all the plants at the top. We are always (so far) in eco mode, is that all it takes? I am guessing the lower plants are just a key for what the manual describes as 'life time points.' Are these just an acknowledgement of using the eco mode over time? What happens when you fill the bar? Do you get a new Clarity? Does it keep track of driver one and two separately (i.e., can I battle my wife for top lifetime points)? I do realize all this is unimportant. But Honda does make it fairly prominent when you shut down without really saying much about what it means. Thanks. --Sorry, I just saw that this was already a thread, but no one really explained how it works (maybe no one knows yet). I would delete this and move it to the other, but I don't seem to see a way to delete.
Ah, so the lower bar is accumulated "life time points"! I was wondering why I could never score well, even if I drive like a grandpa!
I agree, it is a mystery on how to interpret. I've had my clarity for a few months and it seems unchanged. No points, and the top always displays 5 leafs. Wonder if that means I going good or bad? Or if it even functions... maybe I will take a short run around the block in sport mode and see if my "score" changes. I will post if there is a change. At least the Prius gives a score of 0 - 100.
I believe the top row is for the current/last drive and the bottom is for accumulative "points". Looks like this is carried over from the Accord Hybrid. Here are some additional discussion links https://www.driveaccord.net/forums/86-9th-generation/206234-hybrid-eco-score.html After about 1300 miles I am now almost to the end of the first block in the lifetime points. Overall, just some visual feedback more than anything of value imo
LOL yeah I was wondering this myself. I mostly drive under 20 miles each way so 100% in econ mode and electric only, and always have the planets and just got my first small plant underneath... glad to see its a mystery but looking forward to my free Clarity upgrade when completing it
According to the link I posted above, you actually get a trophy when you finish the lifetime points. Make sure you have the camera ready "I just received the trophy for getting all of the lifetime points at about 6600 miles."
