  1. It's in the manual, but not on any sticker or spec list that I can find.

Is it in the EX, the EX Premium, or neither?

  4. Thanks! How well does it work for you?

And you don't happen to have the Launch Package, do you?

I have the EX Premium Launch edition; when lights are in auto mode, if they come on, I can push the left stalk once and the high beam auto mode turns on. If I push it again, the high beams come on...

I have the EX Premium, and it does not appear to have high-beam assist.

  9. A saleswoman told me today that only the Launch Package has high beam assist, but it's not available on the current Premium. Sounds like you're confirming that.

What a shame they didn't continue to offer that package. I'd really like this feature and the front parking warning.

High beam assist should be available on the 2020 EV, since it has already been announced for the 2020 hybrids.

Yes, we have the EX Premium Launch Edition.

The high beam assist works great. It detect traffic in the opposing lanes really well and at a fair distance.

Auto high beam assist not on my EX premium. Extensively tested it to try and activate it.

  15. Aha. This explains why I can hear an audible clack of some sort of reflector or shade moving into place when switch on the high beams. The car must be able to modulate the position depending on the assist return signal. Will it also turn on the fog lights in appropriate conditions?
