Looks awesome! It's been a few years since I bought mine, but I might have walked out on them pulling that. A simple no should suffice. I kinda hope mine will do the paperwork a little ahead of time just so I can go in and pick up with little stress. I've done that more than once with cars. One time they nearly forgot to take payment since it was going to be all in "cash" since most finance lol. So we had to stop them and hand it over as they were giving the keys.

This is our first black car, I’m in love with the color and car. Once you go black, you can’t go back!! LOL!!

 

Congratulations on surviving the pickup ordeal!! I hope to cut through that as quickly as I can. Unfortunately though, My SE is still at the port.

Such a cool color! My service advisor at my dealer has a car in that color. She nearly talked me into it.

Although England has gone back into a full COVID lockdown, Manufacturing is staying open so hopefully there won’t be too much delay in cars getting over.

 

Noticed an issue on NAV system, the map is more than two years old. Our house is a little more than two years old, the address couldn’t find on the NAV, I’m in the process for ask dealership to update my map.
Iconic trim head-up display only shows own nav system, so if you want to use CarPlay, it won’t display on the head-up display.

 

I was told the nav map updates automatically "about four times per year." It may be the map data source isn't very up-to-date. I know of areas near me that are completely wrong, some roads no longer exist but the nav system wants me to drive on them.

 

My SE is finally in transit! Should be able to pick it up sometime this week. Too bad the rains are starting this week too. Oh well, I’ll be warm and happy cruising in the rain.

Got my production number. My sales person is out sick, which is why I had a small delay on getting it, but they had it last week. It is scheduled for week 48, so the week of the 23rd this month. Looks like I'll just miss getting it this year for tax purposes.

 

Pick up day has finally arrived! She’s beautiful!! I got to take a brief test drive and I’ve got no complaints. Unfortunately, it’s dark and raining and I’ve got some more paperwork to sign but looking forward to driving her home and then really getting to know the car tomorrow.

I’ve learned so much on this thread so thanks to everyone for sharing!

I ordered my car in early June and my car seemed to be massively delayed compared to the google doc users. I’ve tried to be calm and wait it out but it’s becoming difficult. My dealer said my car was due to arrive 11/5, the tracker said it was at the Baltimore port 11/5, but the actual ship tracking says the ship arrives 11/9.

Does anyone have any experience in guessing which is correct? Or have any Baltimore turn around times? I’m in VA and not so secretly hoping it arrives before Thanksgiving. Any advice is appreciated!

 

That’s my favorite combo! I may go with different wheels, but I love the BRG and black roof. Congratulations!!
