I got couple quotes about XPEL Ultimate plus PPF, full front coverage ranges from $1700-2200, full coverage ranges from $4000-6000. Ceramic coating professional done will be around $1000+. But I have used the Turtle Wax 53409 Hybrid Solution ceramic spray coating on my Tesla, it works great, you can get it from Amazon for like $14-15 per bottle. it won’t last 3-5 years but I apply it every another car wash. It is super easy to apply and result is great.

@LazyPanda, our cars are being unloaded in Oxnard today. Sara Leader has docked. As I remember, it took almost two weeks from docking/unloading day until pickup at dealership for Toi and TittaPDX. Yours will obviously go faster since your overland transport will be faster. The race is on!

I checked with my dealer, he told me that my car will arrive to the dealer around 10/27 and most likely I will be able to drive it back home before end of Oct. I hope you will get yours soon.

Black is not a color, someone told me once; it's a way of life.

This being my 12th 'black' vehicle... I can confirm.

Black is a two-edged sword. It looks terrific when properly detailed but any swirl, hologram, smudge, wet spot, and ordinary road grit is revealed by black like no other color. You either constantly attend to keeping it spotless or give up.
BTW, with the detailing products on the market today with just a little experience and willingness to follow directions you can achieve outstanding results. I'd recommend everyone consider detailing their car(s). Lots of satisfaction when you get good results and you get to know you car's every square inch.
I won't go into what products I use. Waxes, sealants, coatings and their many brands can start a religious war like those about which oil to use. And as a bev owner. aren't you glad you don't have to deal with that anymore.

Just noticed that in “track my mini” it not only switched back to Arrived At Port but I now have a picture of a mini with the same colors/wheels as the one I ordered. Nice touch.

Just checked mine, same!! I am in contact with my dealer about the final price break down and finance rate. They are offering .9% for 60 months.

@F14Scott - if the question was addressed to me: I don't have a favorite battery coolant. I didn't know coolant for the battery was a serviceable replacement. Actually I'm not at all clear about what the service intervals are for the SE. I did only a quick check in the manual and found nothing and the onboard info basically tells me a service is due one year from the date of purchase but I don't recall any info about what is serviced, Maybe it mentioned brake fluid. I'm pretty sure though that spark plugs, oil changes, antifreeze, timing belt adjustments and all the rest of ice mechanicals can be ignored. :)
Maybe a thread should be started about this.

  19. On start up the display in my SE shows first service due in 2022! Happy days.

Sorry, Ken. You're a victim of my weak sauce sarcasm. I was parodying the people on forums who will argue for days about the benefits of their particular favorite oil, changed monthly, to the point of absurdity. (If you use any quality oil and change it at regular, factory recommended intervals, you'll never have an oil related failure.)

Still, I'm glad you asked. I was scratching my head over changing battery coolant once per month! :)

@Norbu72: my car now shows at dealership, I messaged my dealership and need to confirm it. Hopefully it is true!!!
