Awesome! It seems they are moving full steam ahead. Hopefully the momentum keeps going.

Mine went from showing a credit for the HK system to showing it as being included. ASK-MINI and the dealer both seem to think it'll include the system when it goes into production later this month.

Whoa, that would be cool. I've been hoping it finds its way into my car, but I'm not holding my breath.

Trying to get some sense of delivery wait time and by looking at the spreadsheet data, it looks to me that those who placed their orders in the spring/early summer of 2021 are getting a (much) shorter deliveries than the earlier orders. The delivery time of 2-3 months now vs. 5-6 months earlier? Does it depend on the trim level (more packages/options, more wait time)?

It seems to be too variable honestly to gain a clear sense of wait time.

My MA said it is usually been 3 months - 12 weeks. Mine looked to have an earlier delivery but chip shortage and UK summer holiday has moved to most likely 3 months.

For other than an outlier here and there the 3 months is probably quite likely unless the chip shortage goes to a whole new level. Unfortunately from the looks of things that might be the case. Both GM and Ford are experiencing major disruptions in the US related to the chip shortage.

As one who took delivery in summer of 2020, I can say we were plagued by pandemic lockdowns. Even after the SEs were built, ports were shut down or backlogged for quite a time, and then the ground carriers had labor shortages. My SE actually spent two weeks between being released to carrier at destination port and actually getting to my dealer.

With Ask-MINI and the dealer closed today I had to resort to internet sleuthing to possibly figure out the vessel.

APOLLON HIGHWAY left Southampton on 06-Sep-2021 at 02:15 Local. It is bound for Brunswick, GA.

The K-Line timetables show a scheduled route from Southampton to Brunswick departing on Sept-6. It is scheduled to arrive at Brunswick on Sept-16. The timetable then shows a Galveston arrival on Sept-20.

I will check tomorrow morning to see how accurate my "guess" is. LOL.

Loving the updates @Novadar! It almost feels like MY car is on the way, even though it's sitting in my driveway like it has every day for the past year :)

In my experience, you have to call 866-ASK-MINI and talk to a human to find out the production week.

Nice! I've been meaning to call today but work keeps getting in the way. The website still just says scheduled for production, but I think mine was supposed to start production yesterday.
