I always carry a 12 V tire inflator; sticky string plug kit, and; long nose vice grips. I also have AARP with towing but don’t care for the insurance junk mail. Bob Wilson
First test if the leak is slow enough you can top off tire to drive to a shop. If not, still on vehicle. Just roll enough to access the puncture. If front tire, turn to for easier access. For a rear tire, driving up a curb can improve access. It takes some strength to remove the object and ream the hole. Bob Wilson
