Which Kia? It could just be for a Kia ICE antifreeze.

I am still looking for the Kia specification of the correct blue coolant for my E-Niro quoted by a Kia document not a third party manufacturer.

  3. So, I do have the document that shows orange or blue. The only blue stuff I can find is this newer, expensive stuff.

The information I have found about the blue stuff and the Kia battery refers to low conductivity, and the anti corrosion stuff using organic additives.

The information on the Valvoline site, besides saying it is for Kia, Hyundai, Aisian cars, also states the organic additives.

One of the links on my site is from the EV manual and tells you that you may have blue or orange.

I have the Kia part number listed

Perhaps the only mapping missing is from the Kia part number to some standard, so you can check the standard against the product, like Zerex Blue Asian.

Everything I have found is at the end of this page:

Greg, curious how you are 100% sure the Zerex blue is the same as the Kia EV coolant sold by dealers. Having trouble verifying this as the bottles of Kia EV coolant sold by dealers don't mention any spec on the bottle, and I want to make absolutely sure the Zerex product meets that same spec. Would not be surprised if Kia purposely neglected to mention the spec on their bottles in order to make it difficult for DIYer's like us to match it to an aftermarket product and out of an abundance of caution buy the Kia branded coolant at an absurdly inflated price. Just don't want to make a mistake as the consequences might be huge, but this reminds me of my Porsche convertible where the owner's manual emphatically insisted I must use genuine Porsche hydraulic fluid in the system that raises and lowers the convertible top. I should have known something was up when the Porsche dealer parts department did not stock the genuine Porsche product and the parts counter guy smiled at me. When the container of genuine Porsche fluid arrived I quickly discovered it was just Febi brand hydraulic fluid with a adhesive Porsche label slapped on it at double the price! And they want us to trust vehicle manufacturers like this? Hmmmm.....

  5. It's all BS, it's just a low conductivity coolant, with less stuff in it than the green.

If you are still struggling, the Kia stuff has shown up on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/174777827639
