The Hondalink app is....at best....trash. It takes FOREVER to update charge times IF it works which is like....20-80 against for me right now. I live in San Diego so there is plenty of cell service. Is there a way to change charge times without using Hondalink?
Yes, you can change it using the buttons on your steering wheel. Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
Hahahah....Thank you. There's also this.... http://owners.honda.com/vehicles/information/2018/Clarity-Plug-In-Hybrid/features/Driver-Information-Interface/2
It's good that the DII always tells you if the charging timer is set when you power down the Clarity.
I didn't have any earthly idea what that meant. I also couldn't figure out what the "TCU" was. Now I know.....and knowing is.....................
FWIW, I inadvertently created a charger fault on my Siemens VersiCharge when we returned from a vacation a few days ago. The car was fully charged, and I then enabled the nightly charge schedule via HondaLink. That was successful, but I forgot that the charger cable was still connected to the car, and the fault resulted. I removed the cable and reset the charger, and there haven't been any problems since, and hopefully no damage was done, but it was troubling. In the future, I will be sure that it is disconnected if I expect to change the schedule.
