Maybe I've missed something, but why on earth aren't they going to sell this in the U.S.? It's better looking than any Buick we've seen here in decades.

A Buick made in China faces new US tariffs that would price it out of the market. Volvo (Geely) just gave up on their plan to bring their Chinese-made EX30 to the US (bumming out a friend I convinced to get on the waiting list last year).

You'll have to ask Mary Barra why Buick wouldn't also build this EV on this side of the ocean.

That's of course what I was wondering. And while I do remember reading that other Electra EV crossovers are on the way here, I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that this isn't one of them, which still seems odd to me, though maybe it will make more sense when we see the actual U.S. lineup. I still think this Chinese-market model is gorgeous and would immediately go on my shopping list if it were available here.

The always knowledgeable @Nebula didn't specify if the E4 will be sold in North America. If this good-looking EV is not based on a platform used for any other North American vehicle (think Chevy), it is probably not coming to North America.
