Is your wife ok driving the car after its misbehavior and the dealer finding nothing repairable? Probably completely and totally unrelated, but nonetheless interesting... a friend of mine with a leaf described similar behavior with his Nissan Leaf brakes. I also was leery of doing the updates and did so now simply as a matter of convenience. I’ll report back with an update of the updates. I have no idea why they didn’t do the 18-097 update. We don’t charge at public chargers and have never experienced a problem at home.
