So, criminals will turn in their guns? Most crimes are committed by felons, ineligible to own guns.. It's not legal gun owners that are the problem.
90% of gun homicides are gang related. Those are mostly felons committing those crimes and it is already illegal for them to carry. If you look at gun owners with concealed weapons licenses... There is virtually no crime committed by people with such license.. Anyways, guns won't be taken away in this country as it would cause a civil war. We know what gun control has done.. Hitler registerd guns and then disarmed Jews and hauled the disarmed, defenseless Jews to Concentration camps. Hugo Chavez registered and then confiscated guns and now, they are killing their own people and they have no more weapons to fight back. Chavez was democratically elected as was Hitler.
Over their dead bodies would American Gun Owners give up their guns.

So hopefully you will never call 911.

I assume you also don’t appreciate the fact that you are not forced to speak German in the USA.

We would all be speaking with a british accent if it wasn't for the militia (every armed citizen) who were equipped with the same guns as the british tyrants. It was due to armed people that we are an independent country now.

It was due to armed people that people had to be armed in the first (second?) place. See where this loop goes?

There is no un-inventing the gun.

We can’t keep drugs out of prisons. Let that sink in for a bit.... then tell me you believe that we can un-arm criminals. Fantasy land...

But on a different level you are wrong. A gun is the only thing your daughter, sister or mother could use to defend against me if I wanted to do them harm.

So you have a howitzer in your garage and wear full-cover plate armor? A nice compound bow and somebody who knows how to aim can surprise anybody. Also, must you bring out your dick and tape measure in public? Anybody can defend against you with the right tools. You aren't a wizard. And making vague threats against a person's relatives on the internet is not cool. At all.

    Say what?

You are clearly a moron to take that as a threat.

Point was, (should not need to be explained, but again, you are clearly a moron) guns are an equalizer allowing the weakest to defend against the strongest. It’s the only tool that can do so. But it’s not why we have the 2a.

Guns will always be needed. Self Defense is a basic human right. The hundreds of million guns won't magically disappear.. Especially criminals would never give them up.. So why should potential victims?

Exactly.. Every woman should have one.. If a rapist tries to rape her, blow his fkng head off.. If there was no guns, rapists could rape women as they please as police is farther away than it takes to rape a woman.

Yes, the 2nd is there for situations like right now in Venezuela.. Unfortunately, the Venezuelan people allowed their government to disarm them.

Each situation is unique, and it's crucial to consider all perspectives when discussing such sensitive topics. My thoughts are with those affected by the tragedy in Vienna.

It's truly heartbreaking to hear about the recent events in Vienna. Such tragedies remind us of the importance of safety and understanding. I recall a scare in our neighborhood a while back—it really made us appreciate the vigilance of law enforcement and community support.

I recall a scare in our neighborhood a while back—it really made us appreciate the vigilance of law enforcement and community support. Understanding effective gun laws can contribute to preventing such incidents, ensuring everyone's security while respecting rights. Let's keep those affected in our thoughts and hope for peace during these challenging times.
