Oh yeah it can haul.. 33 Boxes of flooring weigh 729 Lbs and me 170lbs = 899lbs

160 miles , no issues a little squirley on corners nothing severe.
real suprise was I got 3.7 miles nearly all highways BUT plenty of road construction where we slowed down to 40 or so . driving in "B" mode so the stop and go added range on regen.

It's 2023 VW ID 4 awd pros with over 51K miles in 15 months. Onnly service has been to replace the pedestrian "sound box" that shorted out going through car wash (underspray)

I bought exactly the same model right down to the colour in January of this year. I need a vehicle of a certain length for my business requirements and for my side hustle as a musician. Love the physical car. Not in love with the software or lack of driver info about battery state of health or operating temperature.

The software issues are more irritating than disastrous (so far). The door handle button sometimes locks/unlocks the car but most of the time it doesn't work any more. The intermittent windshield wiper setting is a crap shoot. Sometimes it does nothing. Sometimes it goes full wiper speed. When it's in a good mood it does interval wiping but sometimes just switches off or goes full tilt at random. The car "freaks out" when navigating narrow passage ways giving off endless beeps and warning signals. Occasionally while backing up I've had it slam on the brakes so hard I thought I hit something. There was nothing there. This isn't exactly confidence inspiring.

A driver display showing battery temperature or SOH health is not available. All being said I'm quite pleased with the range, comfort and handling. If it proves reliable over the long term much can be forgiven.

Morning Paul, for the "quirks" get OBDeleven (just google it) , with that I turned off the annoying seatbealt nag, I turned ON the ability to touch screen (enter map directions) when driving and turned off the auto locks.. so much better.

The car itself is excellent , 53,000 miles now 15 months , had 300+ car washes and [paint still looks great . battery I was @ 5% degradation at 43K miles.I believe I am peaking now at 9%,.BUT I charge to 100% daily need all the miles I can get driving rideshare. I still rountinely get 280 miles a day,260 on back highways .

For battery temp get yourself "carscanner" on google play store or apple store.. will also show you when battery heater kicks on (when plugged in and it turns off once battery reaches 70F)..also check all your battery cells.

Buffer.. has great low end buffer 5-10 miles extra range if you ever find your self in a pinch witha dcfc thats not working..you may have enough to make it to the next dcfc

    I did 0% -0 miles ..(more than once ;)
