https://autos.yahoo.com/2022-ford-mustang-mach-e-155700141.html "Orders for the 2022 Mustang Mach-E are open now on the Ford website, but be prepared to wait. The company estimates that deliveries of the Select and California Route 1 models will start in February 2022, with deliveries of the Premium and GT models starting in April 2022." Seriously? Even for 2021-updated-to-2022 orders? That's a minimum full year for my April 2021 Premium order. Beginning to think it's just not going to happen. What a country.
I am trying to figure out the real dates. No message I can find from Ford on my order saying I was bumped to a 2022 model. It still claims today a build date of 10/4/2021 - with no update now that it has passed. My order was on 7/21/2021, so I wouldn’t be shocked if it was moved to a later build date - or pushed to a 2022 model - just wish they would give an update on it.
This is a negative consequence of globalization and supply chain faults with parts coming (or not) from many countries, factory shutdowns, etc.
